The two-year Interaction Design diploma at CapU connects design and technology to prepare students for an exciting career in design & tech. Research and exploration are at the heart of the program and courses. We develop communication, leadership and collaboration skills while learning more about global consciousness, human responsibility and sustainability for our communities.

Principal’s Honour Roll in 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022 & 2021, member of LEO (Leadership) Club and LOVE BC, member of Byrne Creek’s Field Hockey Team from 2021 - 2023. Graduated in 2025 with the Byrne Creek Alumni Scholarship, VPA Diploma in Visual Arts, Excellence in AP 2-D Design Portfolio 12, and the Dogwood Diploma.

Skybender Ride Operator

Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) ✧

Worked both morning & night shifts at PlayLand as a rides attendant. Greeted and counted guests onto the ride, operated the ride in the control booth, assisted guests with getting off the ride as well as around the amusement park.

Digital Zine Contributor ✧

Scarameow's Adventures

Worked as an artist & promoter for the for-profit, online digital zine Scarameow’s Adventures hosted by several other artists on social medias like Twitter & Instagram. Created merchandise and drew illustrations for its audience.

Media Arts & Leadership Club ✧

Leave Out Violence (LOVE) BC

LOVE BC offers arts-based violence prevention programs; participated in workshops where participants explore experiences, share perspectives on the world, and develop emotional & social skills for themselves and their communities.

ONIVA! ✧

CBC Radio-Canada

Illustrated backgrounds for the children’s show “ONIVA!” which is broadcasted on CBC Radio-Canada (FR), visited the studio to discuss how the art will be shown. Episode aired in February of 2023.

HOPE International Gala ✧

HOPE International Development Agency

Volunteered as a helper at the HOPE Internation Gala, an organization that creates change for less-fortunate communities. Helped set up before auction & dinner, sold chocolate to guests, collected money, worked at coat check.

Structured Work Experience & Training ✧

LaSalle College

Participated in the one-week S.W.E.A.T. program at LaSalle College. Learned about 3D modeling and animation using Maya while developing communication, technology and creative skills.

Peer Tutor for Media Arts ✧

Byrne Creek Community School

Worked as a peer tutor for 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders in a Media Arts class. Mentored students on how to use softwares Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Premiere Pro, assisting them with problems when needed.
